Making query builder view permanent

Is there a way to make expand query builder be permanent, like
something that won't go away each time I change folders (like a tool
bar). Getting kinda annoying having to expand it each time I switch
from inbox, sent, delete, my own PST folders etc.

General web searches didn't give me anything. I'm somewhat familiar
with registry changes. but I cannot find a way to make it just stay
when I'm in email view.

the Instant search field in Outlook 2007? There is no setting to expand it.

Diane, I do use the instant search but I get so much email that I
filter only on keywords on subject line, which is where I use expand
query builder a lot on different folders. I was trying to find a way
to make it pervasive so it doesn't go away when I switch between
folders (inbox, sent, etc.) or even another pst file folders.The
instant search works but it also pulls in words where would exist in
other fields, i.e. body, from, etc.

I never found a solution Vinay. Maybe it's a request to Microsoft at
this point to ask.
