Malware Hit on Outlook?

M

Mike Fox

Something odd with Outlook! After doing my mail, closed Outlook, and
went on to something else, but computer was very slow. Did
'Cntrl/Alt/Del' to look at 'Windows Task Manager'. 'Outlook' vanished
from the 'Applications' tab, but it was in the 'Processes' tab and it
was using 97% of CPU resources. It just kept running indefinitely in
the upper 90% until I ended the 'Process'. This has happened several
times.

Has Outlook been infected by malware? How find out? How fix?
Ran antivirus, Ad-Aware, Spybot and Registry Mechanic and didn't find
anything.

I'm running WinXP Pro with Office XP.

Could use some help.

Thanks
