Mambo?

Hi, I mangage a website with FrontPage and increasingly depend on personnel
in other offices to maintain their subwebs. One has suggested Mambo software
for site management, content input, and database interface. Do you know
anything about it? How does it compare to FrontPage with CSS and/or dynamic
web templates, database wizards, etc.?
BTW, nobody in my workplace is a real programmer. If it's not in FrontPage
or a plug-in, I can't do it.
Please help me know what to say about Mambo!

Mambo is for the tech guys that really understand coding and the layout of
the server. It is a total different approach to publishing, updating and
developing.

There are pros and cons for both, but since no one in your workplace is a
real programmer, then Frontpage is the way to go. Support for Frontpage for
the most part has a bigger base that can put things in layman's term for
you. Although support for Mambo is abundent, a lot of it will not be
comprehensible for the average user. Frontpage takes care of a lot of server
issues for you automatically. Frontpage can also do whatever you need your
site to do and if someone's level experience grows, the more you can do with
Frontpage.

It would also be a lot easier for someone else to take up the mantle if and
when there is an employee turnover replacement..

Hope this helps ...
