Manage time sheet with Ms project

R

For the purpose of the pay(RH), I need to have a view that will extract the 2
weeks timesheet entry. Ex: I want time sheet fr the 01 February to the 15
February 2006. I will like to see it by ressources/by project/by task/.

Actually, in the section ressources i could see the ressources with their
task but for planned work. In the view availabilty, I see the time sheet time
only can't filter by begin and end task.

The real question is how we manage the pay with ms project server? Is it
possible?

Thank you

Hi Rickydb77,

Paying with Project is tricky. It is predomenantly for Project Management,
and a time tracking for Projects. It does not have the concept of billible
and non-billible time.

In order to get what you want in MS Project ( not in Project Server) you
will need to give your users access to the project file, (or manually enter
the time yourself). Then you could run various reports to see how much time a
resource has actually worked in comparison to forcast work.

To be honest, I would not use MS Project alone to do my Project billing.
Not sure if this helps

Thank you,

I know the tool is not the perfect one for billling. But I try to use it for
the HR department to give them a view by ressource of the time enter in the
timesheet. The pay for the hr is 2 weeks so i need to filter for entry in the
timesheet for a period of 2 weeks. I know there's begin and finish but it's
for a task. Do you know if there's a field for begin timesheet(date) entry
and finis time sheet entry(date)

Thank you
