Manage windows sharepoint services

I am NEW to this and need help!! When I open the "configure project server"
page and click on "Manage windows sharepoint services" I get the following
error;

"The account information for the Microsoft Office Project Server WSS Admin
COM+ application is incorrect.
To set the account information, run the PSCOMPlus tool installed with
Project Server, and set the Windows account that the component should run as.
"

I ran the pscomplus utility and it seemed to have done something (not sure
what). Is there a step by step on how to get project server running in
sharepoint?

After running the PSCOM+ tool, the system should respond back that "The WSS
component is now running in Com+" If you didn't see this message, then you
need to try again. You should refer to the installation guide for more
instructions.

Greetings,

I am having Sharepoint problems as well. When attempting to connect to
Sharepoint server via PWA I log the URL for Sharepoint Central Administration
which works when I perform the URL test. Then I attempt do the second step of
"creating a site under this Sharepoint URL:" by entering the same URL with
/sites attached. Testing this URL for "MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
fails. It also fails when I attempt to save the changes. PWA looks for
Sharepoint but I get this error message: "The specified web server is not
extended with Windows Sharepoint Services or it is not accessible via HTTP(S)
protocols."
I have access to Sharepoint Central Administration. I have set the virtual
server as the default web site. I have also attempted to create a top-level
web site to be the Project_Server_PublicDocuments site. That fails as well.
It seems no version of the URL address I plug into Project Server or
Sharepoint Central Administration is acceptable. I have the book
"Administering an Enterprise PMO" and I followed it to the letter. I have run
the Sharepoint configuration wizard. I have also run the PSComplus.exe. Now
what?

Thanks,
