Managed MAPI Service Catastrophic Failure

When ever I open Outlook 2003 I get a popup that
says"Managed MAPI Service Catastrophic Failure".

I click ok and another one opens. Very anoying. Does any
one know how to fix this?

Sounds like you have an Outlook add-in that is crashing. Have you installed
anything that is supposed to work with Outlook? If so, try uninstalling it
and see if that corrects the problem.

I am not aware of any program that is an addin. How can I
find out which programs may be using Outlook. I have
QuickBooks,Quicken, WinFax,MS OfficeProfessional and
several other programs.

Go to Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options -> Add-in Manager and
you'll see a list of your add-ins. Try unchecking an add-in, then quit and
restart Outlook and see if the problem recurs. If so, try disabling another
add-in until you find the responsible one (I'm suspicious of WinFax - many
people seem to have problems with fax). If none of your add-ins is
responsible, we'll have to try something else...

Ifixed the problem by accident. I install Outlook Business
Contact Manager and that took care of the problem. Thanks
for your help.
