Manager Email Notification

Strange issue: I have a manager, he gets emails about his tasks. He does
not get emails about his resources though. I have his security setup where
he has every category checked as "allow" for see enterprise data, see
projects in project center, see projects in project view, see Resource
assignments in assignment views, and view risks, issues and documents.

Under the Global permissions section for him, all the "view" boxes are
checked allowed as are the set personal notifications and set resource
notifications.

On the group security for the group that he is in, we have the exact same
items checked as I have on him (I only did it this way to confirm he was the
same).

On his PWA, all the boxes are checked to get emails from his resources.

He does get regular emails on his tasks.

Saying all that, I built a test schedule. I added only three resources. I
made myself one of the employees under this manager.

In the RBS, we have literally this for the manager:
President/VP of Sales/A
and this is literally for me:
President/VP of Sales/A/B

I have a task that is late, but he still doesn't get an email.

I did assign myself to the task via the proper method of getting the
resource from the enterprise pool.

Any thoughts about how to get him emails or why he is not getting them?

Hi
If you have access to the mail server check the logs and
make sure that email isn't getting bounced for some
reason. If the server is configured to not allow relaying
I think that can cause a problem.

Thanks for the idea Manmeet. I had IT Support check the logs and there are
no bounced messages to/from the manager or to/from the Project Server or
to/from the resource in question. Any other thoughts?
