Managing a PM projects, while out of office

As an Admin, how do I manage a PM's projects, accept time
and update changes? We are using Project 2003 Client
version and Web Access version, on an Enterprise system.

Before the PM leaves on vacation or whatever, he/she should absolutely make
sure that are no task updates pending on the Updates page of PWA. Then, you
can open each of that PM's projects and do the following:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments
2. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments" option
3. Click OK

Doing so will redirect all task updates from team members to you so that you
can accept actuals and update changes. When the PM returns to the office,
he/she will need to repeat the above steps for every project for which
he/she is the PM. Hope this helps.
