I know that Administrative Projects are Microsoft's
preferred way to manage non-working time like vacation
and training. However, Administrative Projects are not an
ideal solution for our team because they do not prevent
managers from booking tasks over Team Members
Administrative tasks. We considered giving managers the
permissions to edit their Team Members' individual
calendars instead of using Admin Projects, but this
option does not allow for Team Members to request time
off using Project Web Access.
So, I guess my question comes down to this: how are you
guys/gals managing non-working time? What have been your
experiences with doing so?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
