I've got two problems conerning the same subject "Managing Pairs of Web Pages
and Folders"
1. I've got a Vista Business PC running Office 2007 SP1 and "Managing Pairs
of Web Pages and Folders" is missing from the folders options.

2. Second PC running XP Pro SP2 and Office 2007 I can change to this
option "Managing Pairs of Web Pages and Folders" in folder options but is
doesn't seem to work.

Can anyone help please ?

Hi buckit,

Office 2003/2007 added those choices to Windows XP for
Explorer's Tools=>Folder Options=>View
(Vista, control panel, classic view, Folder Options, View)
to manage the Web documents you create in Office apps, such as
Word's File=>Save As=>Web Page

Did you do a complete installation of all of the Office 2007 optional features through Programs in the control panel?

There is a Windows XP registry hack that will add those, but I haven't tested it in Vista.

Hi Bob,

thanks for responding,

yes in both cases a complete install was done, as I mentioned before these
options on the Vista PC are missing completely but in the XP machine they are
there but the option "Manage pairs of web files and folder as a single file"
doesn't seem to work.

Hi Buckit,

This page http://windowsxp.mvps.org/webpairs.htm has a Windows XP registry hack for this, and Alan Simpson discussed it for Vista in
his 'Vista Bible, but you may want to check with the folks in the Vista discussion group as well before using it on Vista.
