Managing shapes in a group

Hi everyone,

I have created a shape by grouping together multiple rectangle shapes.
However, it is still possible to select and delete each possible
individual shape in the group. What I want to do is have the overall shape
been treated as one and not allow the user to select each element of the
group. Is there any way to do this?

Hi xargon,

1. Open the ShapeSheet of the group shape (select the shape and select
"Window -> Show ShapeSheet")
2. Set the cell "SelectMode" inside the table "Group Properties" to 0.

As an alternative to the ShapeSheet, you can use Format/Behavior dialog -
(Group behavior / Selectio)
