Managing similar citations

I'm using the APA citation manager to reference web-based documents. I have two documents that have the same author (as the organisation) and the documents were created in the same year.

When I reference these documents in the text of my report, there is not sufficient detail to distinguish between the documents (because only the author and the year of publication are listed).

If I were entering references manually, I would put, for example 2009a and 2009b to distinguish between the documents. Does this function, or a similar one exist in the APA style?

Thanks.

Sorry, I thought I had the right info, but can't find it. If you're referring to the American Psychological Association, I'm sure I've seen "a" and "b" used in the manner you describe, but it's been quite a few years since I've read the literature.
