Managing Users and Groups using AD?

When I go to the Manage users and Groups page, it lists the following
groups:
Administrators
Executives
Portfolio Managers
etc...

Is there a way to assign a AD Group to each of these groups? I see AD Group
as a field in the grid, but I can't figure out how to populate the field.

Thanks.

I found that clicking on Modify Group will let me fill in the feild. But,
now when it tries to Sync, I get this error:

Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description:
Accessing AD group
GroupNameRemovedFromPost failed due to error 20000-FetchGroup:
<Error><Component>AD Connector
</Component><File>AutoADProcess</File><Line>-1</Line><Number>0x4e20</Number>
The
AD group name is invalid.] ]>
</Error>

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Be sure you have SP1 installed.

The problem was that the OU we were trying to use had a slach in the name of
the group. That didn't work too well, so we moved it to a different OU and
everythign worked well.

Thanks.
