Mangaing unlinked files: How do I use a default broken image file?

I am currently managing a website catalog for which the
pictures of the items have yet to be taken. This means
that while I am waiting for the pictures, I have thousands
of broken image files. I am using a PDG shopping cart,
and each item/image file for the item needs to be specific
and I spent days entering the item numbers. Is there a
way to have Front Page recognize that there is a broken
image somewhere on the page and refer that unlinked image
to a default image (such as a box that says "Coming soon")?

No. You would have use a custom script written in ASP, PHP, etc. to
accomplish.
