Manual uninstall of Office 2000

Candice

I am trying to uninstall Office 2000 but I keep getting the error message:

Error 1316: A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file
C:\\Windows\Installer\Data1.msi

Is there a way I can manually uninstall the program? I do not have the disk
anymore either.

Thanks.

Office is not a program, it's a suite of programs.

How are you trying to uninstall it?

I am getting this error when trying to pull the whole of Office 2000 SR-1
Premium off my XP machine.

I don't have the original CD. Snatched by the IT dept!!

Any ideas how to progress?

Thanks.

I think you should ask the IT dept, as they are likely responsible for
the software loading.
