Manually Uninstalling Project 2003

Alright this is the million dollar question. How can you uninstall
Project 2003 when the site has been deleted from IIS. When I attempt
to uninstall it gives me this message "the installation ended
prematurely because of fatal error". Is there away to repair the
install and start from scratch?
