Many pictures and words on one page-no way to copy???

I have created a document with many "drawings" on one page... It won't let me
"Select All" and can't get the mouse pointer to "select" by dragging a square
around everything I want to copy...??? HELP! Where is my drawing toolbar
with a "select" pointer?

In Word 2007, you can access the Select Objects tool by clicking on the
Home tab | Editing group (at the right end of the Ribbon): Select:
