Map Custom Fields Missing "Value from source"

S

SJMP

Outlook 2003 - I am exporting contacts and what to export a custom field from
an outlook customized form. On the outlook form (when in design this form
mode) the custom field is "Textbox6" - Is there any way for me to get this
value available on the Map Custom Fields List? Can I associated one of the
existing (non utilized) values to "textbox6"?

Thanks,

Hi SJMP,

Based on my research, we are unable to make the custom form into the import/export wizard\Mapping Custom Fields list. If we associated one
of the existing values to the custom form (Textbox6), it will listed as the existing field instead of Textbox6.

If you just want to add the Textbox6 column into the exported CSV file, I recommend you to use the copy/paste to Excel directly. Following is
the key steps. Hope it addresses your concern.

1. In Outlook 2003, Go to the Contacts folder.
2. Click View > Arranged By > Current View > By category.
3. Show the items by Category.
4. Right click on the column name > choose 'Field Chooser' > choose 'user defined fields in folder' > and then drag your custom form
Textbox6 to the column name.
5. Press Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+C. In a blank Excel file, press Ctrl+V to paste the contents shown in outlook to the Excel file.
6. And then, you will get the textbox6 column.

If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Emily Lin
