I don't believe you can alter where the mapping function looks in Outlook
2003. I was under the impression it would use Streets and Trips if it were
installed, but that appears to be false. As far as I can tell, it will
always use http://maps.msn.com/, which redirects to http://local.live.com/.
Some earlier versions of Outlook allowed changing a registry key but
apparently the destination is no longer exposed.

Any place we can do some more research? MapPoint 2006 is designed to be
integrated to other Office Applications, like a COM Add In to Outlook. It
worked for me when I had MapPoint 2004 with Outlook 2003, but my PC failed &
I had to reinstall everything.

Now how do I direct Maps in Outlok Contacts to MapPoint again? Is there an
Outlook or MapPoint MVP or Microsoft Tech Support email or phone #?

I have the same proble, with OL 2003 & MP 2006 i cant get to my local maps. I
expected upgrading from 2004 to 2006 to give me better integration. To make
it worse i cant use Live Local though our firewall so when aranging an
appointment i cant get to the Net for Live Local and i cant select Mappoint
(suspect its because i am using Europe and the help just mentions US version
only).

This cant be right, can it?
