MAPI Services not installed on this system error?

Hi

I have a accounting program that I use to send invoices from. It works fine
with Outlook 2003 installed, but when I try with Outlook 2007 installed I get
the following error:
MAPI Services not installed on this system.

Sounds to me your accounting program isn't compatible with Outlok 2007.
Contact the vendor of your accounting application to find out if or when
they have on update available to be comaptible with Outlook 2007.

Thanks for the feedback.
So normaly 3-party applications should be able to send e-mails through
Outlook 2007 as they were able to do with Outlook 2003?
I thought it might was some new security feature or the lag of MAPI support
in Outlook 2007 that was the reason it didn't work.

I am the author of a system that uses MAPISendMail to send invoices by
email as above this was working well before the IE7 update now it comes
up with _except_handler4_common entry point missing from msvcr80.dll
and MAPI does not seem to installed??

Can anyone throw anylight on this? How do we get MAPI installed??

Turns out that you need to have Outlook Express / Outlook as your
default mail client (i had switched to Thunderbird which I still use
but OE6 is my default)
As simple as that!!!!!
