MAPI settings

I have an access database that works fine when on a PC using Oulook for
sending emails using SendObject; when it sits on a PC using Lotus Notes it
still works ok, however what about other less known email programs..is there
someway I can configure the database's MAPI connectivity properties?? I also
note that the database works fine on XP but not on Windows 98?? I am using
access 97.

SendObject should work as long as the computer's default email client is
properly registered and MAPI compliant. To check, fire up Internet
Explorer and go to Tools|Internet Options|Programs.

For a further check, click this link mailto:[email protected] (or
double-click it, depending on the news reader you're using). This should
invoke the email program and create a new message to that address.
