MAPISP32.EXE takes 98% of CPU

I hope someone can help. I have a system running Windows
XP Pro. I was running Office XP then the Outlook crashed.
I installed Office 97 and it worked for a while. Know when
Outlook is opened and MAPISP32.EXE startes it takes 98% of
the cpu. I have ran Virus scan, defrag and scandisk and
still the same problem. Anyone have any ideas on the
problem or how to fix it?
