Mapisp32 faliure invalid page fault for Outlook97

I sent a reply email and it got stuck in my outbox. I
could not open to resend it. When trying to open the
dialog box message is "Can't open this item. The MAPI
spooler has already begun transmitting this message. I
cannot delete or move this message either. Ever since this
occured I cannot send, messages go to the outbox. New mail
can be deleted.

When starting Outlook I get the error that Mapisp 32
performed a illegal operation and will be shut done.

The Mapisp32 header reads MAPIsp32 caused a invalid page
fault in module<unknown> at 0000:0a0ddb23. I can provide
the dump if it would be helpful.

I have restarted Outlook and Rebooted Windows, no help at
all.

Please help. I am in the middle of contract negotiations.

Installed 2000 and rebuilt to new .pst file. Left the
corrupted message in the out box of the now deleted .pst.
Was not able to recover the message at all.
