Has anyone tried plugging all non-project Appointments from Outlook
into an administrative project in Project Server 2007? This would
accomplish the same thing as putting the non-project entries into the
resource's personal calendar, it would just be accomplished in a
different area.
Having the users Outlook appointments setup in the admin project would
allow a more thorough record of where the resource is spending their
time. I was thinking of requiring all the Outlook appointments to be
assigned a category that could be mapped back to one of the
Administrative time categories.
What would be the pro's/con's of using this approach as opposed to
using a resources project server calendar?
Thanks for your assistance.
