margin marker

In 'print view' there are 4 markers on each corner of the
page that show where my left and right margins are
located. I'm not sure how they appeared, but they were
not always there to begin with. I want to know how to
remove these markers.

They appear when you install (or allow to be installed) support for an Asian
language. To get rid of them, go to Start | Programs | Microsoft Office
Tools | Microsoft Office <version> Language Settings and disable support for
any Asian language.
