Margin Marks in Print Layout View with Asian Support?

Pierre

Recently I included Korean in my Office XP Language
Settings. The next time I opened Word, there were these
great marks (like "inverse corners") added to the view in
the corners. These marks indicated the margin settings and
were not printable.

Question - Are these marks available without having Asian
Language support enabled?

Most people seem to be trying to get rid of these "crop marks." But yes,
they are displayed (along with other marks) when you enable "Text
boundaries" on the View tab of Tools | Options.

Suzanne -
Thanks for your response.

Yes, Text Boundaries does turn on these Crop Marks, but
also includes the "box" around the whole text field. I was
hoping to find a way to enable just the marks in the
corners. As I typically use the Print Layout view when
generating documents, I find them useful. However, their
utility is compromised by having all of the extraneous
Asian features enabled. Such is life.....

So far I think you are the only user who actually wants them; everyone else
who has posted to these NGs is trying to get rid of them! I personally could
take them or leave them, I guess. I do display text boundaries (would feel
lost without them), so they're just part of the total picture for me.
