I'm chalking this one up to the utterly bizzare. The theory is that if
you're sending in plain text that means there is no formating.
Unfortunately that theory fails when challenged by Office 2003.
Here's the setup:
Using Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as the editor, when I go to reply to
an e-mail that is in plain text the margins are set so if I try to
print the message about 1/4" of text goes off each side. If I turn off
using Word as the editor the issue goes away.
I cannot find a single setting anywhere that sets margins for plain
text in Word, but clearly there is something. My boss thinks he
remembers a similar problem a couple of years ago at another company,
but can't find the TechNet article or any other leads.
Has anyone else seen something like this, and if so have you found a solution?
Thanks,
D
