margin view

Chris

I have a very basic question. I've been using Word under Windows for
some time, and made my default document view contain lines indicating
where the margins meet in each corner. I can't remember what it is
called and I can't remember which option I clicked to show this. I
checked all the options under tools and the customization options, but
was unable to locate anything. I did notice that if I slected the show
Text Boundaries option, the margin lines would show up, but I do not
want the box around the Text Boundary to show. I wish I could remember
how I did that or what that option is called. Can anyone help me??

Thanks in advance,
Chris

If you display the Ruler and click the Margin slider, it will show a
temporary text margin the length of the page.

Otherwise it's Word>Preferences>View as you note and it will show the text
boundaries also.

Cheers
