We are running Office XP on a Windows XP client, networked to an HP 1100
LaserJet printer via a JetDirect 170x. Our problem is this: A user will send
a print job to the printer, then edit the document and send it the printer
again. The second time (and each subsequent time), he will get a
"Margins...are outside the printable area..." error, and the document will
not print correctly, although the print preview looks fine. I have reloaded
drivers, tried alterante drivers (HP 1200, HP 1300, etc.), experimented with
different settings in the printer control program, all to no avail. I have
seen similar postings from other people having the same problem, but have
not seen any from anyone claiming to have definitively fixed the problem.
Has anyone overcome this issue? My kingdom for a solution!
Thanks,
BC
