Margins cutoff in "Print View"

I have no idea how this happened. I opened a file sent in an
attachment and now when ever I create a new document the top and
bottom margin's aren't displayed in print view. It's terrible to look
at and is driving me crazy. Let me try and explain what I mean.

If you hit the third view button in the bottom left hand corner it
displays the document in "Print View". I believe this is the default
view. I like it especially for trying to even out white space on a
page. Normally it displays the top and bottom 1" margins and the
right and left 1.25" margins. Mine no longer displays the top and
bottom margins. It chops the page at the margins. VERY ANNOYING! If
I go to print preview or print everything it still fine but the view
really bugs me as it's been the other way for about 6 years.

Can someone please help me. I even reinstalled office but it didn't
make a difference. It's only when I create a new document too. If I
open an older saved one it shows the margins. The only solution I
currently have is opening an old document and deleting everything and
saving as a different name. Rather cumbersome.

Thanks in advance.

Hover your cursor at the top of your page. When the cursor turns into a
two-headed arrow, click and you will have your top and bottom margins
(white space) back. I hope this has been helpful to you.
