margins do not fit the page error in a shared workbook

Have a shared workbook in excel 2003 version, but some users intermittently
get an error saying 'margins do not fit the page' tried fixing by resetting
the margins on print preview but it keeps happening and the file keeps
getting locked, any ideas most welcome. Thanks!
