margins outside of printable area

We intermittently receive the following error when printing a document:

The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do
you want to continue?

When we say yes, the document prints almost to the left of the page but
truncates the left and right side of the document - printing about 4.5
inches of the 7 inches of normal text width. If you print it again after
printing it from the error, it will print correctly. If you say no, then
print it, it will print correctly. The margins of the document are all 1
inch wide, and the document is normal text without graphics or tables.

We are running Office 2003. The document is saved to a Windows 2003
network. It is being printed on a Kyocera 1920 printer. We have already
reinstalled the drivers once.

Thanks.

Is this a problem with a specific document, or with documents based on
a specific template? Then the cause could be document or template
corruption. A quick fix would be to copy the contents except the final
paragraph mark into a fresh document, based on a clean template. For
details on this and other fixes, see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm .

Alternatively, if the problem occurs with all documents, try using a
newer version of the printer driver.
