margins outside printable area

I have a document that keeps giving me the
error "margins... are outside the printable area." When I
choose fix it puts a margin of 2.67'', which I don't
want. The document consists of text inserted into
tables. I have also selected the option to break rows
across pages. I have tried to clear out any erroneous
charaters and resize the table rows but it keeps these
margins. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Colby,

This is a printer driver issue, usually with an HP printer.
I have the exact same thing. I have given up trying to fix it after
installing over 10 different drivers (including beta ones)...
I usually choose to ignore the message,, and I have to remember to use the
Zoom option in the print dialog to tell word not to fit the content to one
page, but to the 8½ x 11 size, or some of the stuff from the page will not
be printed).

By the way, why the double post?

Cheers!
