Sometimes when opening a document and clicking on preview
before printing, the bottom margin of the page suddenly
changes to 2.67 and most of the document disappears and
will not print out either. If you re-adjust the margins
to 1 inch top and bottom, you receive a message that
margins are set outside the printable area. If you click
the "fix" button, the bottom margin is again reset to 2.67
inches. Any ideas? In this situation, Word 97 is on a
machine running Windows NT 4.0 attached to a networked
printer (HP LaserJet 4050N).
This problem seems to be similar to the one posted on Oct.
7th by Sarah Davis with Word 2002, however, I'm having
this same problem with Word 97. I've searched the
Microsoft knowledge base, but there doesn't seem to be any
information on this particular margin problem with Word 97
