When in Print Preview, is there any way to simply drag the margins to where you want them?? That is, without going back and forth from Page Setup/margins to Print Preview and tweaking it until you like it?

Hi Kristin -

I'm not sure how to answer you because Excel 2008 doesn't provide a Print
Preview mode, so here is some general information:

If you mean what you're viewing if you go to File> Print, then click the
Preview button the answer is No, you can't change *anything* about the Excel
file there because you're viewing it through another program - Apple's
Preview.app - and it's only displaying what the printer will produce based
on current specs of the file.

While working in the Excel file you can either use the File> Page Setup
dialog or the Margins button in the Page Setup group of the Formatting
Palette (Toolbox) when in either Normal View or Page Layout View. In Page
Layout View you can double-click in either a left or right margin area to
bring up the Margins dialog, and in Normal View you can also drag the
vertical & horizontal dashed lines to make adjustments, column by column and
row by row.
