Mark contacts private

Michelle

How do I mark ALL my contacts PRIVATE? Also, how do I mark just selected
contacts PRIVATE? Using Outlook 2007.

Thanks.

You can export to Excel to add the Private designation to all contacts for a
quick and dirty method. For individual contacts. you can right click select
them and move to a new contacts folder and export that to Excel to do the
same.

If you are talking only a few, they can be done on an individual basis in
the open contact.

Add the Private field to a table view and group by that field. Mark one
private, if there aren't any so marked. Then select everything in the
"Private: No" group and drag the selection to the "Private: Yes" group.

My mouse always slips when I try the table view process. It is better but
not if you are fat fingered... lol.
