mark up by author color scheme edit/ customize

Does anyone know how to achieve color costumization for the mark up feature
in the track changes tool for "by author options"? the defaults are too dark
to be comfortable to read.

I am seeking advise on how to edit/customize them.

Once you have selected "By Author," you have given Word carte blanche to use
whatever colors it wants. Sorry.
