I would like to be able to mark up pdf files with OneNote. I downloaded the
trial version to see if I can, and it doesn't allow me to import pdfs at all.
I tried printing the pdfs to .mdi format, which the help files for OneNote
said was a format that could be imported (in fact, the help files said you
couldn't insert a document as a picture unless you had the microsoft document
image writer drivers from Office) but when I do that I still can't import the
..mdi files as either documents or as images. A .mdi format doesn't even
appear on the list of input file types in the menu. What gives? Does
OneNote import .mdi files or not? If so, then how?
Also, at least in Windows Journal you can mark up anything you can print.
The print quality for Journal is bad for scanned in pdfs, so I was hoping
OneNote would do a better job of importing. Does anyone have this, or any
other experience with marking up pdfs on a tablet PC?
Thanks
