I am in the process of developing some plans to increase my sales and love
the idea of the Marketing Campaign tabs - however, it seems very limited at
the moment. I would like to be able tasks to it. I don't want to clutter my
main to do list with projects that are seasonal plans and would like to be
able in marketing campaign for. I'm currently using "Projects" to track my
orders from my customers/contacts, so setting a project for each campaign
isn't an option either (unless I could have the marketing projects display
only under the marketing tab??)
Campaign Name: Prom Sales Promotion
Start Date: April 1 End Date: June 30 (with a reminder option so I can
remind myself in March to start working on this)
Project Tasks: 1. Ads in school newspapers
2. Special section on site
a. Prom dresses
b. Accessories
3. Email former prom customers (this could utilize the
existing email part of the campaign section)
etc.
Then be able mark the project tasks completed. Then I could reset it to
recur again the following year.
Perhaps I'm missing an easier way to do this???
