Markup in Word

C

Cathy A.

Hi

I have a job that will require the use of the markup feature in Microsoft Word (it's a feature like tracking for editing). I understand markup comes in Microsoft Word 2002 and Microsoft Office Word 2003. But I have a Mac at home. Does anyone know whether this markup feature comes in the latest versions of Microsoft Word for Mac? Do I need to buy the Microsoft Office Professional Edition package so that I can work using this feature with PC-users who use it

Thanks

Cathy A.

Hi Cathy,

The tracking feature is also built into all Macintosh versions of Word. Be
sure to get in on the free upgrade to Office 2004. The new version will be a
"must have" for you.

Hi Kathy:

The feature is called "Track Changes" in Word, to distinguish it from the
"XML" and "HTML" functions Word also provides.

It exists in all versions of Word later than Word 4.

Jim's correct: it's much improved in the next version.

Cheers
