Markup, Track Changes cant be turned off in Word

I turned on Track Changes. Now, even though I turn off
markup and save the doc, when I reopen it, it still shows
tracked changes. How do I turn it off for good? Office
2003.

Hi, David,

You have to use the Reviewing toolbar to either accept or reject each change
(or accept all, or reject all).
