I can no longer highlight (select) a group of files of similar file types and
perform a mass action on them on a laptop I use.
I can do this on every other computer I have tested.
Here's an example - I want to open three PowerPoint files in PowerPoint. I
should be able to go to the directory containing the three files, highlight
and select them, and then click Open. The three files would then open in
PowerPoint. This no longer works. I have to open each one separately.
Another example - I want to print five Word documents. I should be able to
go the directory containing the Word docs, select all five, and click Print.
Each document would then print without me opening each one up independently
and clicking Print for each one.
I really need to get this working again as I use this feature frequently to
perform mass actions on multiple files.
