Hello,
We are converting several hundred users from a Microsoft Mail system to
Exchange Server 2003. Contact information on the Outlook clients is stored
in Personal Address Books.
We can import the PAB into Outlook successfully.
However, all of the contacts that have e-mail addresses have an e-mail type
set to MHS. If we change this setting to SMTP, we are able to send mail
through the new Exchange server without any problem. If we leave it set to
MHS, then the Exchange server replies automatically saying there is no
transport available.
Is there a way to do a mass conversion on a PAB to convert the e-mail
address type to SMTP?
We have several hundred users, each having a hundred or so contacts...we
could be looking at 175,000+ changes to this field. That's 48 hours of
editing if each edit only takes one second!
