I'm new to Access security. I was wondering two things:
1. If I have many users (100's) to add to the WIF, is there an easier way
to add them than by typing in each person's user name, PID & password one by
one in the User & Group Accounts from the Security menu? Can I import the
data from an Excel or txt file or something?
2. I was wondering how come I can't give a new user a password when using
the User & Group Accounts from the Sercurity menu? The only way I can see
that I can add passwords at the very moment that I add the new User is if I'm
using the User-Level Security Wizard? It seems like if the user isn't added
through the use of the Wizard, I have to sign on as that user in order to
assign a password? Am I missing something?
Your help is appreciated!
