Mass email add-in program

Using Outlook 2002
Quite some time ago, there was a response to a question I asked about being
able to send an email to many addressees which are included in a
distribution list such that the email appeared to each addressee as a single
email addressed dircelty and only to that address. There was a way within
the add-in to personalize the message with something like: Dear Mary, this
should prove interesting to you ...
The name came from the distribution list. The text was somehow batched.

The need for this facility has risen again. I have lost and forgotten how
that program was offered. I'm hoping that someone can lead me to it.

Click Help and look for "mail merge". You are misremembering using a DL,
however. You can't perform a mail merge using a DIstrubution List as a
source.
