Mass emailings

I need to create a mass emailing for within my company (not spam). Without
adding the addresses one at a time is there a way to create a large
distribution list(about 1,000 addresses)?

Do a mail merge to email....that will be more likely to work.

Your mail server or your ISP's server would likely prevent you from sending
a single message to that many recipients, and a lot of the recipients' mail
servers would likely think you were a spammer.

Not enough information to say. Whether you're using Exchange as your mail server and where this address information currently resides are the critical issues.
