Mass import of Documents

Is there a function to perform a mass import of
documents, stored in an existing server's directory, into
the WSS project document library?

Serge,
Since it's a WSS site and a document library, you can
select the files in Windows explorer and drop them in the
WSS screen.
Don't forget to select the explorer view in the document
library.
I assume that there are also other methods or tools
available for a bulk upload.
