mass import using Excel

Hi all,

I've created a form library in SharePoint that utilizes an InfoPath form for
document submittion. We were previously storing the information in an Excel
spreadsheet and what I'm wondering is if it's possible to somehow import the
spreatsheet into the form library so that each row of the spreadsheet is a
new document in the library? This would make submitting the historical data
much simpler than having to manually input a couple thousand forms. Can
anyone offer any assistance in this?
