mass storage device piracy

is there a way to access my history usage of mass storage devices that
were connected to my computetr. after coming back to work yesterday i
found a message that say;s that my mass storage device was unplugged
successfully, trouble is i did not insert one. could someone have
pirated my computer

Have you talked to your IT staff? They may have had a reason to access your
files. And if it's your work computer, they aren't *your* files. At least
that's going to be their story.
