Using OL2003.
I have customized my MCL to the point that none of the
default categories remain. I've been through a couple
iterations of this before finally settling on the final 9.
Then I did a hard reset of my Palm so I could bring a
clean sync to my Beyond Contacts v3 app on the Palm.
Somehow, the Palm is picking up some old MCL items on the
synch (and a full Desktop-Handheld overwrite as well) and
the MCL is not what's on Outlook. There are some old
category items that have long since been deleted, and have
no contacts or events associated, that are still
appearing. And, all my customized categories are marked as
not in the MCL.
I've been around the block with DataViz (Beyond Contacts)
and have determined that this MCL data is coming from
Outlook. I have an export of my category registry key and
am working on finding a hex editor to see what's in there.
In the meantime, is anyone aware of problems with the MCL
in 2003?
